About the Workshop

Join Boombox in welcoming back BJJ and Catch Wrestling Master Coach Shamal Freeman to the mats! Coach Shamal is a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and very accomplished Catch Wrestler, having previously studied under the legendary Karl Gotch. Coach Shamal regularly trains professional and amateur fighters, and is a lifelong martial artist.

What to Expect
90 minutes of Catch Wrestling essentials, including insights and details into key positions, transitions, and, of course, various flows of submissions that make the “Chain Wrestling” format of Catch-as-Catch-Can Wrestling so famous around the world. Great for Grapplers looking to expand their knowledge base, or beginners looking to start their journey into the world of Sport Grappling.
