About Guro RIck
Rick Faye is the Founder and Head Instructor of the famed MKG International Family of Martial Artists, and the MKG Method. He has been sought out globally for his expert instruction in all things Jeet Kune Do, Muay Thai, and the Filipino Martial Arts, over the course of multiple decades. His friendly, funny, casual teaching style makes him distinct in the Martial Arts world, and is why the MKG organization has a reputation for inclusivity in training. His organization has branch schools and affiliate schools all over the globe, including Boombox, which acts as the Michigan MKG Headquarters. Having achieved the highest rank possible under Martial Arts Legend Dan Inosanto (Bruce Lee’s best friend and training partner), and under the equally legendary Chai Sirisute (the man first responsible for bringing Muay Thai to America), Guro Rick is also known for bringing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Minnesota (he was the first BJJ Blue Belt in the state’s history), teaching modern-day icons like Erik Paulson (early MMA Champion and pioneer) and David Leitch (who brought us the John Wick films and Deadpool 2), and for his countless contributions to Catch Wrestling, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Indonesian Silat, and a variety of other styles of Martial Arts.
